rcy - Even though I have assisted the author and he consulted here on BITOG I have disagreed with him many times. Initially his wear metal comparison test processes via end on end disparite lubricant UOAs and his understanding of Tribology left much to be desired.

He at one stage "outlawed" the latest Porsche Approval Lists and condemned virtually all SM and CJ-4 lubricants. His reasons were solely based on Zinc/Phos levels - he did not take into account the latest and emerging AW technologies. I believe his wife may be a Chemist
