Just curious, if you have no desire to change from what you learn, then why the Heck did you even bother asking?I will keep saying it how I like to and how its spelled. Sort of like how some pronounce "Wash" as Warsh, Car as Caah, etc.

So many names are mispronounced by most everyone. BTW I do have Lis-Le tools.
Don't get me started, I have a personal interest is how Dubois is mispronounced... hint, it come from French.
We used to have a scheduling lady who insisted it should have been spelled "Lilse" and she was determined to make us all understand that it was the village who has been spelling it wrong for all these past 150 years!

Yeah like the name Bombardier, funny how shows like air disasters constantly mispronounce that. They call it the same as the fellow in a B17 looking through the good old Norden.
Never really asked how to pronounce it just curious how many did not call it Lyle.
So many on these sites and even industry can't seem to get the simple nomenclature correct on somethings and they don't care either, so this is the way of the world now mispronounce and call something it isn't. Funny stuff right?

Phonetically? Close enough.
But saying that the French should change how they spell their names to fit our norms is, a bit, well, ridiculous.
