Well, I just got an 05 Camry 4-banger stick and see no oil useage/loss after 1500 miles...but kitacam only has 99k miles.

The engine runs very smoothly and is plenty peppy with 24-25mpg in town....the 5-speed MT is very nice...plenty of torque range for pretty effortless driving in town...

Good luck in your hunt....

Like I said in multiple posts:
-focus wagon; if you're lucky you can get the rare manual/stick version.
- saturn sw1/sw2 or the v6 lw300 (the michigan saturn station wagon posted by earlyre)
-hyundai elantra gt (they come in manual, hatch (with a lot of space) and upgraded brakes/suspension)
-ford taurus/mercury sable wagons (they existed in manual/stick?)
-volvo wagons: from gearheadtool pop-corn-opera YOU CAN NOT AFFORD IT!
-1,000,000 points question: can your wife drive stick?
