Hmmm, I had a quick browse through the manuals and I don't know if my base radio without navigation has a gps sensor, or a cellular connection? We don't have remote start either, but I suspect that it is capable of it as the key just tells it to start.
Anyways, our cars are always in the driveway with the keys in it, we have 24/7 canine anti-theft deterrence, although a couple chunks of meat probably would be all that's needed to become friends with anyone!
