Actually there's a XL in town in this color.. hybrid and AWD. Exactly what I'd want. Around $31k. As usual it's a ugh what to do. Now that it's AC season I remember why the Dakota is horrible on the highway, down shift over and over. I have stuff in the bed but it's never full. I'm still borrowing and might buy the bigger 3/4 ton for the heavy tasks. 90% of the time the smaller truck would do fine on the 100 mile round trip to the farm. But is it worth paying $30k for little more comfort and 4x the gas mileage...

Maverick owners.. Curious last night and looked up how much insurance would be on a new 2026 Maverick. Surprised that is was cheaper than our 18 X3. Is insurance cheaper on that model? Guess does make sense since the X3 could be way more complicated to repair.
