I bought a car but am having it shipped... coming from Ohio
Cool! When is the big reveal? I had to stop buying cars, so I do it vicariously on here.

Only if you bought something goofy like a Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet.I may not reveal it as a few here will attack me...... Used not new
ZR2 will be 4 years old this March. It's been reliable other than the following issues: thermostat replaced, door handles replaced (paint was peeling off), 4wd actuator switch failed and sway bar end links failed. Other than that, it's been solid. The ride is actually extremely firm on road, which is partly why it handles so well. But you absolutely feel potholes in this truck. You would think you wouldn't but the DSSV's are tuned for high speed off-road more so than small bumps. The kids actually complained about the ride. Shocks are in great shape too. It's been a fun truck overall. Was useful a handful of times for moving thingsm but not enough to justify keeping it. Off-road was limited to beach and Pine Barrens. Nothing crazy.
While getting back into looking at car reviews, it made me think of the thread posted here not too long about: "Is anyone else disappointed with modern engine oils?" Except, my disappointment is with modern cars.
I'm ready to get back into a smaller car or SUV/CUV with more carlike characteristics.
Cars on my list in no particular order:
Model 3
Jetta GLI
Ford Bronco Badlands
Corolla SE
Equinox EV
WRX
Impreza RS
Ridgeline
Honda Passport
Volvo EX30
Hyundai Ionic 5
Lexus ES 350 V6
I'm probably leaving some off the list I already forgot about. I'm on the fence with going to EV. I'm tempted, but not 100% sold. I first have to drive them to see if I even like them but the simplicity, quickness and lack of fluid changes is appealing.
If I go ICE it has to be an engine that isn't known for consuming oil LOL.

BMW 3-series sedan and/or X3.ZR2 will be 4 years old this March. I forgot to put Mazda on my list. I'm still considering them. I like the 3 and CX-5 Turbo. Thanks for the suggestions.BMW 3-series sedan and/or X3.
I take it you are done with Mazdas?
Corolla SE and ES 350 are an interesting pair.
She does a nice job. Goes into spec detail for engine/transmission etc.The Outlander Sport @Zee09 got some love there.I've never seen her before, she seems sincerely knowledgeable.

Same! LOLI cringe when she does her patented brake lock and when she gives the cars the "beans"
I'm seeing a lot of "electrical problems" listed on the newer models at the insurance auction. They are selling for almost nothing. No wonder insurance premiums are going up. To total a car now all it needs is a $20 thousand dollar wiring harness go bad or a tail light go out.Cool! When is the big reveal? I had to stop buying cars, so I do it vicariously on here.![]()
