Lets talk about new vehicles

It is a sad state of affairs that I would notice those nice huge HVAC rotary knobs as something to be cherished and commented on, rather than not noticing it because it's how every car should be.
Totally agree... the whole vehicle is simple and you don't have to take your eyes off the road and port injected with simple maintenance and extremely durable.
They are my runabouts....

Oil filter protected but easy to get to without removing anything.

The KISS principle

They are slapping that green on everything now. I see it on Bronco Sports a lot. I don't feel special anymore. :(
Sorry bro.....
I just saw your new avatar in Hemmings Motor News, so I swiftly reported you to Mr. Newman

I got 33mpg + today on a 26 mile run in nasty wind and that included a rather slow drive thru....
Speeds up to 70... I thought it would be dismal with the wind in a SUV

That Mitsubishi 2L is the smoothest 4 cylinder i have ever had on the 2024 Sport... I have had a zillion 4 cylinders too. Earlier ones like my 14s, 18, and 2022 were not in the same league and mpgs were a good bit lower.
I got this one in January this year and was shocked they are now $4k more right now....too expensive these days for a runabout

Not much flash and more like an industrial appliance...

My buddy ran into some money and ran straight to Ford for another Maverick shown here

Great color. (y) Assuming they had no green available?

I picked up a brand new 2025 Toyota Rav 4 yesterday for work, replacing one of our steaming pile CRV's. Great seats and smooth driver. I'm pretty anti-Toyota due to the tax and the arrogance of some owners but I'll admit it was very nice.

At least you know upfront
I think the Toyota fanboi club is diminishing...

Nice site! They've got a green Stang on there just for you! 👀
Green has never looked good on a car and only once on an old 70 something model Ford pickup. 👍 It's like all these new vehicles coming out in boring gray. Blue or work truck white are good colors.

I liked it on my 68 Javelin and my 70 Mark Donahue Special Javelin
I also have a boring gray 25 Accord Hybrid . No apology required 👌
