Lets talk about new vehicles

Once your seated in it you don't see the all of the exterior so I'd be o.k. with it . Had a few HONDA Fits'. Kind of a smaller version of the Mazda 5 .
If it works for you....
I had some funky rides too, so I get it.

Had a few smaller versions of the MAZDA 5 , the FORD Festiva ( 1.3 Ltr. ) which was the Mazda 121 in disguise . One had the 3 speed auto and a few with the 5 speed manual . Fit a new love seat in it thanks to the rear seat that folded up against the back of the front seats .

Not close but I had an AWD Element very handy but a gas hog....2007 version

This video includes price , handling , braking , interior space/ comfort , gas mileage and the fold dwon / up rear seats I described . Purchased a used Red '93 with 6,000+ miles with the 5 speed manual for $6,000 or a bit less . Was rear ended by a large station wagon while waiting at the red light and totaled it . Had 12" tires . Those were the days , be nice to have those for swapping out tires when older . Put YOKOHAMA snow tires on it and handled very well in snow , slush , rain , and ice . Last , it was for used deliveries and usual driving . If it was produced again I'd get another or 2 or more .

One of the Altimas sounds like a washing machine with an uneven load going by. Not surprising it has lived much of it's life with a fake temp tag and now sports the front plate off the other partly wrecked Camry they also own, so probably not much caretaking going on.

The other four are long time owners (6 to 8 years) and seem to be good cars for them. 🤷‍♂️

I have heard Nissans are a real pain to work on and dealerships are not great either, so there's that.

I had several in the 80s and 90s and proved to be very reliable but like most early Japanese vehicles...thin on the sheet metal and early on thin paint too. Rust proofing came much later

So who is the idiot that thought his pickup could go up that snowy hill?
It did easily...it won many competitions on ice with its Diesel 5spd and Vredestein snow plus tires
beating the Bigfoot trucks in the day going straight up solid ice hills...
That was my parking place in our lane...1983

What brand truck?

Model 720
It was mid 40 mpg too
Nice.

Trucks like that did pretty good. I had a Mazda that had a utility cabinet rear bed. It would go through snow when others were getting stuck. Regular tires. 5 speed. That truck was an Energizer Bunny in disguise.

I bought it in Wilmington Delaware new at Alderman Datsun....it became well known.
The old RSHS now the middle school had a hill right out front and it became the ice competition. Even the police would watch....
With its ultra short first gear it would just walk up the ice and the Vreds would get really sticky in the wet and 3 sand bags across the axle..

I always hear the rust out line which is true. However the dealership did Rusty Jones treatment on them all and I actually got no rust and it stayed on the road for 400k miles but I lost track of it after that.
