Lets talk about new vehicles

My Maverick tells me the washer fluid needs refilled and the container is huge and I doubt I'm down 6 ounces..
Are you using the orange Rain-X washer fluid? A few years ago it was causing issues in VWs due it gumming up the level sensor and causing constant low fluid level warning. It coated the sensor and had to be cleaned off

No I'm using the basic blue stuff in everything....I have heard that.
As a matter of fact l heard the VW service guys yesterday talking about just that.

Not a long video but something new.
Ford Maverick vs Hyundai Santa Cruz. Which is better and why?

No transmission issues for the Cruz so we are not going there.
Please no YT quality complainers..

I was going to make a crack about getting through the video without grenading the Hyundai engine but... they actually grenaded the Hyundai engine just trying to make the video.

I don't know why anyone who has so much as a Google app on their phone would by a 4-cylinder Hyundai/Kia. A youngster at work just bought one, and when someone mentioned the engine issues the response was "what engine problems?" And I see new ones all over the road. I don't get it. 🤷‍♂️

Engine aside, the Hyundai looks awful, costs more and well... it's a Hyundai.

And they have had tons of transmission issues... I bought my mom and Elantra way back in 2000 I believe..her choice..it was very reliable vehicle and many years later something happened where Hyundai can't make an engine anymore.

Exactly. While very plain in appearance and lacking refinement, the older vintage Sonatas were great cars. The big problems started around 2012 give or take a year, and now over a decade later they still haven't fixed it. No idea how they are still in business, engine replacements are not cheap, and they've done hundreds of thousands of them.

I was going to get a Stromboli tonight but since I received massive abuse I figured this might be a better choice....
