Lets talk about new vehicles

According to Dave B sells Chevy Youtube channel, they are mostly sold before they even get to the dealer. I'm also guessing that there is a markup involved as well.
My local dealer is $500 under MSRP which is fair.

He posted a video yesterday of one they have available for under msrp. It's well optioned since sticker is $100k.

At least the Trax LT which is just over $23k gives you Continental tires over some other makers unknown rubber.

Just goes to show, if you offer a high value option, and you actually build them in quantity (ahem, Maverick) they will sell like hotcakes. Make up the lower margin with volume, like Walmart does.
Yup the great Maverick was a marketing fail thanks to Ford and cv19

I bet they are! Dealer offers are a joke IMO.
When I sold my Cmax a few years ago it was in premium condition but it was worth far less than I got for it...think a second on that...lol
Carvana paid me an insane amount for it ..
Ford said they would pay me top dollar scrap value ..I told him no thanks...they kept on trying to get it...they would have gave me nothing..

The only negative for me is the turbo on the Trax.. I have had several turbos but like normally aspirated for a grocery getter .
Anybody know who makes the turbo?

I saw that, but I'm having a hard time believing that they can make enough Trax.
They come and go here quickly but they still get bi monthly deliveries.
I only saw one sit for a few weeks and it was a base model.

Never understood why some car makers put the ECU in a hot engine compartment where it can run 200+F.

In respect to the Maverick, besides marketing, is there something wrong with them? I was looking into them recently and liked the turbo awd version.
I heard that the hybrid is going to another engine and the eco boost would not be my choice but to tow and AWD you have no other choice . Mine choice is personal preference only.

I know people that have had both. Early ones had a few recalls that seems sorted out as far as notices at least

I heard from a Ford stock guy who said orders are now being built swiftly these days.
