Saw a Buick Envista this morning at the dealer in pearl white. Very sharp looking and a step up from the Trax. Had leatherette seats, nice wheels, msrp was 28k. No sticker shock for once especially after looking at Ford truck prices recently.
You can get a Trax in a LT for $25k and it is loaded and has the 11" screen. Plus other trim levels higher...I don't see the Buick as a step up, just another flavorSaw a Buick Envista this morning at the dealer in pearl white. Very sharp looking and a step up from the Trax. Not so sure about passing broDid the Trax downsize the engine to a 1.2T? The 1.4T was small enough already....I'll pass.
I had the 1.4T in my Cruze and it was 'adequate'....the MPG's dropped considerably when it went into 'boost'. Why would GM downsize to a 1.2T in a (presumably) heavier vehicle? How much more would it cost them to put a 1.4T or even a 1.6T into it?Not so sure about passing broYou may not be able too...
It is perfectly adequate for me.

Days of old - our local Ford is covered with F150’s … That’s not actually normal bcs prior to the shut downs they stocked mostly Super Duty and very few 150’s …Got this over email.
I couldn't download it all. Every vehicle on sale. Expeditions are $11k off

My dealer is loaded too but they specialize in F250-350sDays of old - our local Ford is covered with F150’s … That’s not actually normal bcs prior to the shut downs they stocked mostly Super Duty and very few 150’s …
YupI have owned several F150's and haven't had any problems with any of them. They seem to last forever. Currently at 73,000 miles on my 2014 F-150. They have about $10,000 off where I live and rows of them for sale now. The problem is the most inexpensive one is about $45,000 after discounts.
Yup
Ford is crazy expensive.
I saw a video yesterday of a guy boasting how cheap the base XL 250 with a few options is only $60k...
I wonder if next year brings better pricing? I suspect so.
WowHere is a sweet buy for someone who wants to wait for cheaper prices. I agree probably Jan 1st there will be some good deals as well as next year. Crazy high prices will not be here to stay with the economy, high cost of housing, and high interest rates. I would buy this just because it's a sweet deal. $33,942 for a brand new black 4x4 Ford truck. Drive as is or put a new hood and mirror on it due to hail damage.
Sadly a lot of truth there.Local small town dealer had 9 Trax on the lot Tuesday. I stopped by today and they were all gone... The Ford Maverick is a fail .. GM is producing ...Ford can't.
We should have had a Maverick at every household by now...
The small time dealer is pricing these $500 under invoice currently and no other VAM...
The Maverick is great but Ford is their own worst enemy
We have members here that laugh when others buy vehicles other than Ford. The amount people are willing to pay for freakin’ Fords is bonkers to me. Why anyone would choose to pay more for a Ford than a Toyota, Mazda, or Honda (in that order) is beyond me.
VW is having the same issues with their EV. I do like the bus though... The ID.4 lease looks like a good option if you have to have an EV.Sadly a lot of truth there.
I drove past a truck hauling Mustang E’s the other morning. There’s actually two I see consistently plugged in at work. But they are mostly not selling dealerships had a bunch just sitting there when I bought my real Mustang.
Dealers are a big part of the problem regarding Mavericks unfortunately.
