Destiny mocked me today. Saw an Arteon in gorgeous blue, rare car in a rare color. Never seen anything but white, black and silver and months between those. Not long after went by a BMW 850i coupe. Didn't even know there was such a thing but I'll admit I'm not a Bimmer guy.
BMW was black of course, don't think they make them in any other color.
I believe the call that Arteon color Atlantic blue. Gorgeous.

To what? Arteon or Giulia on deck don't know when shooting for 2024 (which is why I'm looking now lol.) I dont usually move fast but the Jetta was a "hey look what I could do" impulse. No regrets.

All are black...two cars and 2 SUVs and the only non BMW is a Mazda 3 in black too... Really
I haven't seen a white bimmer in 20 years...lol
My neighbor works on them bimmers 3x a week...he has all the tools and he and his family run them to death...
I wonder what would force us people , to buy eu car... are us cars inferior? ( I think not)

Went in today to my local Chevy dealer to order a Corvette. As my usual... Courtney...Jim...Jim...Courtney...

Nice! Arteon is doing very well, you're probably getting close to 30 overall? Wouldn't be surprised if it would break 35 on a highway trip if speeds were held to 70 or so. I could make 400 maybe 425 in my Passat if I ran it down to fumes, I can do 500 plus with the Jetta and it has a smaller tank.

My weekly combined average with daily drive thru's is 34 mpg for a whole week...
Yes 34 mpg with 18% idling as noted by the VW app

Boring car. Get a 1996 C4 LT4 when they were still drivers not plastic malibus.
Exhaust, k&N and a chip and away you go for under $15K, insurance under $600 a year too.
