Evaporation as wind blows across a wet road can lower the temp below 37 degrees ambient temperature and make ice.I guess German water freezes at
37 degrees Fahrenheit because my car keeps warning me at that temp

Yeah that's it alright...
It's giving you a bit of an early warning. It is possible for the road surface temperature to be lower than ambient air temperature therefore making the road very slippery if rain or snow falls on it and partially freezes.I guess German water freezes at

When you cross a creek or get on concrete things can get icy quick...
Volvo S60 allegedly is near the top of the list for bad backs.
Both my Passat and Jetta did/do the warning at 39 degrees, apparently science is different in the midwest.

Just got back from the store and while I was in the store at 60-year-old bloke was checking out my ride.
was a SEMA guy but driving an old Chevy truck.
Who knew he was hardcore VW.?
He freaked. Thought the VW was a CC.
Then his wife comes over and its 15 degrees out and she now wants one.
of course, I say if you can't find you one you can buy mine for a good deal-lol
The car is no big deal, but they say they never saw one and I told them since I got mine 2 months ago
I haven't seen on in the three surrounding states on the road.
I helped them out on pricing just like @KCJeep did me....
If I, do it again the white is not thrilling to me, but they loved it.
The car is at a great price and a bit fun to drive, and it fits me perfectly which is far from the norm.
The outside people love but to me it isn't really 'wow"
But i like it anyway.

I really do love the interior and I fit in this car, and it rides very nice and the engine
is a smooth as silk. White has me uh.... well, it is fine but not the best color for the car.
The mpg is stellar, and it is a purebred Interstate machine.
Takes a bit to get used to a car again. But we had some heavy wind gust, and this car DOES NOT get tossed around like a SUV-CUV.
You don't constantly correct the wheel either.
Very happy with it so far. Thanks to you too!
