My Buddy loves his used 5 series with the turbo four he said it moves. And he just got out of
a tire burner V8 Dodge Challenger lease last spring.

The Arteon has too much cabin wind noise.
It is very consistent and doesn't get louder after 50 but it is too much.
Of course, at its price point, it is somewhat acceptable.

You get road noise from under the hatch, and I have a mat, but I always put two moving blankets
in my trunk, so I never have issues with a spill, but those 3 items killed that nicely.

Come back in 8+ years after not maintaining it properly and let us know.

VW needs a little more care/specific maintenance than the typical buyer can give it. Combine that with quality that is not outstanding like Toyota and you could have some issues. Nothing i would worry about as an intelligent BITOG car care provider.

Well I don't keep them long and the base warranty is good and I take care of the maintenance and so I suspect no drama. Hopefully..
