Lets talk about new vehicles

Its white! One of the Arteons best colors, it just oozes class.

Followed a black Arteon part of the way in this morning, there are no bad colors on that car.
You are a peach....
Thanks KC

Why did he hurt the red light..lol
It was a nighttime spectacle … one of those old boxy 4x4’s … rolled on its side and was sliding pretty fast with sparks coming off like tracers 😳. Folks drove up to check on the driver - we had dinner reservations 😋

You are a peach....
Thanks KC
I went to buy a Passat R Line
They sold it that day.
VW interiors which looked bad to me via the dealership pictures are actually very well done regardless of the material.

I may take it out this morning to Mcdonald's...lol

I was told it is a German vehicle.
I will have to see the parts content sticker.
The premium gas requirement is not a likey though..

The Arteon is indeed imported from Germany.

I'm a fan VWs understated interiors and their seats as well as the feel of their steering wheels are just fantastic.

The seats are bigger than the Passat. Noticed right away.
It does sit low...so harder to get in and out of.
I will have to look it over. I do like the nav up in the gauge cluster

A few pictures. The sun is washing them out. The rear end is boring to me but love the hatch.

look at vin: likely starts with: WVW =Deutschland Über Alles.

My Jetta wanted premium when wearing-in but after about 3K miles it was fine on 87.
Obviously as different engine as the little 1.4 is likely more low octane tolerant given the smaller chamber and long stroke.

Is the Arteon DSG trans and AWD? That would be the only reason I get it over a Passat and spend the extra 10 grand.
Actually at that price I d be looking at off lease Audi if I wanted to stay in the VAG group. I don't know what kind of carrots sticks
Audi teases with certified off lease inventory.

Oh no I see temporary plates on there Jim. I hope you didn’t…….. 😳🤦‍♂️. I guess as long as it’s in warranty it will be ok.
I thought you grew out of the hate everything stage?? First VW i have ever owned.
I talked to several long time VW owners getting oil changes and they praised VW. I was shocked.
Many had 5 or 6.
Said they were very reliable.
It has a long warranty but I won't keep it too long.
I do have initial impressions I will post in a few weeks and many will be shocked at that review.

Not that I am anybody at all but I have owned many cars.. I seen every video on this car and I have no love for these Youboobers.
You wonder if they ever even drove one.
BTW
Nice yellow car in your avatar
Is that a Buick...

Surprised you don't like the rear, IMO it's the best looking of all 3 VW sedans.

Looks like a FWD SE? Man that's sweet.

We have 5 VW dealers within range of me, my preferred go to dealer had no cars and none coming either. I ended up at the sleazy high volume dealer I can't stand because they had a car just off the truck when nobody else had anything. Took me nearly 5 hours to get out of there but I got my price and my car in the end. The experience definitely sours you but now I am enjoying it and the smear/stench of the dealer is wearing off. Give it some time, enjoy the car.

I won't go back there again though, I'll do without if I can't find one elsewhere. Some dealers are that bad.

Now that's a nice looking car. Pictures turn out better in the daytime. :ROFLMAO:
Thank you
But the rear end reminds me of my 97 Stratus..lol.
Now the sides of the rear have that Audi curve

They are. In my experience is what you don't want is to let them get too old. Not going to be a problem in your case.

Exactly same ordeal
Is that a VW norm???
They had me sit in service waiting for paperwork. I did meet nice people. They had the 10k oil changes out in 15 minutes. Paid or warranty. That was good.

Thanks to you I got $6500 off
Yes SE FWD.
Only one they had.
They did have tons of Jetta
Thanks KC

Guy said his 2013 was reliable but off a bit. Jetta..
He was buying an Atlas as he waited until now because the dealership told him too many bugs on the early ones which we all know of.

Nice ride, I hope you enjoy it.

My modern VW experience was good. 2017 GTI was mechanically flawless through 50k miles. Only issue was radio/screen was occasionally flaky.
