Well you are a smart man.Sorry, I bought my last NEW vehicle in 1995 so I can’t add much to this 85 page thread……..
its funny they could not place the VW corporate logo on the engine cover
cost cutting measure perhaps, or issue with the brand itself

I could lose the cover myself...
I don't know the details honestly but it seem that is their latest language/trend; in the past in Europe, all those lesser value VW cars, like Seat, Skoda they would just slap their car logo over the VW, so in the case you would try to remove Skoda or Seat logo, you'd be stumbled again on another VW logo, it got to do something with that Id say

Yeah most likely so.
They have big enough logos on the body. I don't mind cost cutting by reduction of logos..
I'm not a brand bragger...lol
Of course I am running into some VW fanatics...
I do greatly like the big air filter and the 0W30 oil.

Under the engine cover mini hatch? That is an truly effective over-fill prevention mechanism.
I have my Ford engine cover on my porch on top of my table saw. Makes it look like a Hyundai motor
so no one will steal it.

I like your car; however I see they do not incorporate DSG transmission, its only a tiptronic, and i'am not keen on the front facial but that a 5 lift gate is awesome space saver as well as its rear end

The dealer stink that upset me is starting to wear off. I am starting to like the car more.
I found a station 6 miles away that has 93 octane for $3.42
Called Navy but they pump tons of gas daily...

I don't fit well in any vehicle it seems.
Bad back etc.
I will say these seats are the best I have sat in since the 70's and the inside is big.
Plenty of leg and shoulder room.
I'm not jammed in the car.
It does sit low but so far so good.
Cars are tax deductions for me so I don't get bent with negative comments.
I try to ignore the little things because they will drive me nuts if I don't...lol
I understand; btw, we are eastern Europeans so we very used to a Lada build quality owning and driven cars

It was opened on the page so not in the list row. Says 30k but that just means you are good after the second change to go 30k.
