But yesterday I rode by and they got a carrier load of new mustangs.
Nothing but stangs.

The 4runner is one of the few Toyotas made in Japan still. Is there no chip shortage in Japan for some reason?

Prius is made in Japan, also. Do they have any Prius?

Only one.
Mitsubishi sports went back to Japan several years ago but my dealer has very few

Nope just traded it. Fantastic car but the dealer wanted it so bad I could get a brand new Jetta for literally almost nothing out of pocket. So I did.

The Passat was a great car, it was quiet, not Audi quiet but enough that conversations were very easy to carry on and it was VW solid as well. Seats are great in those, I know that's a sticking point for you. I never had a single thing break in 3 years and 56k miles either. VW ownership costs are higher than a run of the mill Ford but nowhere near the German luxo makes.

Jetta is not the car the Passat was but the insane gas mileage and price make up for it's somewhat less polished demeanor. Still drives like a VW and I like it.

Really nice inside-garage kept. Very clean....
Right down the road from me. New contis all the way around.
I could get it for $6500.... Weekend cruiser.

I would be all over that deal for a nice weekend cruiser and roadtrip warrior. Drove by my local BMW and Mercedes daler yesterday adn they had a good amount of new and used vehicles for sale. Drove by my local Toyota dealer and the lot was completely empty.
