Lets talk about new vehicles

Kia Forte GT eh???
Yes.

Do you want to be bored with a fancy LOOKING only CUV.

Or do you want to be engaged in your driving?

I suppose if your into that "rolling Davenport" action then thae Mitsu may do.

But why would it be a keeper? Over anything else you have had?

Plus you currently have a few cars, what do you want with another if they are all eventually NO GOOD anyhow?

This ride will be an Interstater................... smooth-docile-and dead are good traits here.
Of course I get where you are coming from Arco Sr...

I used to use in the day Arco Graphite in my "78" Cordoba 360 Lean burn and my "71" 12hp Wheel Horse Tractor ( Kohler ball bearing motor)
Still runs with no motor work!
I loved the stuff............. oh the days

This angle is not so bad and the color scheme is okay

Garbage CUV. And Poor apparent quality on the Canadian ones.
Sorry to the Canadian contingent, you didnt personally build it so don't get all testy !
Toyota "stylists" still cant loose the Star Wars Darth Helmet styling, can they?

At least it not all girly-bland-inoffensive like the Chevy competition,

NO, It wasnt that good; acceptable as an additive in maybe a cup to a sump. At least you could see the oil level after a change with the now coal black oil. But you couldn't assess it condition with a blotter test.

Ah, the fine and forgotten parlor tricks of an old Garage dweller ...

Back then it was good- better than the rest- this was a long time ago
I heard the black oil argument- a cousin cried about that.
Did you change the oil- yes Jim.... Did you see it pour in black- yes Jim
Well what's the problem............... uh duh.............

Real men do not do blotter test............... come on-lol
You put the oil in and you know how many miles it has on it
What else should you know in the 70's?

The things we did did to bring business into the garage area with the housewives stopping at our Filling Station.

On the payphone, "Honey, the mechanic just said my car, it needs this and that, and also a new muffler support bearing too.
It's not safe. I may not make it home from Stop and Shop !

Husband, " O.K. just get it done - I don't want to even think about it, I'm busy - all tied up. Darla, come in here and take a short memo ...".

Not much to say. Not for general consumption; Its not a Highway vehicle. It's all over the place.

Made by a Mahindra Tractor joint venture Chennai, India. Can be bought for under $17K in 4WD auto. BIG Ford Cash back.
Has an advanced Mazda/Ford 2.0L with 166 D.I. HP. Very Racy and good sounding. Short Stroke engine. Mechanical bucket DOHC.
6 Speed planetary transmission with killer short gearing ( 2537 lb-ft torque in first gear, 1548 in second ! ) AWD with a real, rear IRS with cast lower control arms. 4 wheel disc brakes, a mechanical handbrake (thankfully), beautiful cast aluminum rims on the base model, classy well finished interior with reasonably comfortable seats. A surprisingly excellent sounding 6 speaker Stereo on the FM band. Satellite WIFI on the base trim. Of course PW, PDL, Tilt wheel and AC. Rear wiper and old fashioned far left and right pivoting wipers that come together and cross in the windscreen center to make that "M" shaped swipe. Hidden release rear side swinging cargo hatch. BIG diameter exhaust with stainless shorty headers.
Abysmal fuel mileage of about 23-24 around town. Slippery, hard, and small steering wheel. Bridgestone Ecopia tires
A bit Noisy in odd ways. No spare tire.

I may have alignment looked at. That may fix the squirrelyness. I'll peruse the readout and proceed if necessary,
with minimal to moderate rear toe in and Minimal Front toe in.

I put this together for my graduation way back in the day
I think it was a 65-66??? Olds 98??? Maybe 88- it has been decades...
Full power-lol
I did not attend graduation because that school was loser-ville.
Neither did my GF Susan who later dumped me for an ex con because I- nevermind...
She did come back around again....

We were turfing the school grounds during the graduation and later used it for bridge jumping.
That was my 73 Impala in the background.
