Lets talk about new vehicles

Watched a video about the Mazda CX8- I did not know it existed and I assume it isn't for the US market
From a side view you can't tell it from a 9... Did Mazda really need this?

It's kind of a self torture kind of thing....🤣

So I'm confused, did you order a car what's going on I'm suddenly lost?
I did order a car from another thread on here- Ordered a new Corvette in Florida and when it comes in
I will drive down during a vacation ( property search) and pick it up. ( I'm moving there anyway and may just leave it there)
The car for my OP has not been purchased yet.
Had a few complaints for the humor and fake dealer story about Jones junction which how harmful was that?
Anyway this thread is about "new cars" and what you are after and what you like and no longer about my personal pursuit of the perfect ride although I will continue to post my search as well as everyone else.
Funny what gets people bent. But I hope that has been addressed now.

I talked to the Mazda salesman Saturday just for a few minutes.
Told him I would be back later and the lot was about empty.

Funny thing is Sunday I ran into him at the Home Depot- the whole family.
Nice guy but these car guys are going broke with no cars to sell or even offer to sell

I did a search in my extended area in the three state range on electrify America for the free VW charging
and there is nothing even close in my area. That VW deal isn't worth much locally

Please don't read things not in my sarcasm. I said what can be added not that nothing can be added.
Sarcasm is fine and you have contributed much to the thread.
I'm loaded with sarcasm. But I am aware of a few here that just want the thread locked and
plan on contributing nothing. We talk oil for 25 years here why can't we talk about oil vessels? :)

Philosophy could be added. A car is only a box to sit in with wheels to go from A to B. Nothing more. Get the cheapest and it will go A to B. I saw new Elantras for 14k and new Sparks for 11K. Get the Elantra I think, don't have to change the gears by hand to roll faster. Excessive waste, maybe.

Yes as a tool
But if you don't fit in those would you want to drive a straight 970 miles in one?
Probably not. But I get it. If you are buying a work truck and you really are going to use it like one- why buy the top dog
version. Makes little sense.
