Lets talk about new vehicles

My gun buddy in TN just finished up a YouTube video with his buddy Eddie Wilbanks of old
Hot Rod fame and he still does motorcycles. I'll link it when it comes out. Eddie is alive and well and in great shape I hear.
Just something interesting.

I don't see this thread ending anytime soon, unless it is locked, which I hope it doesn't come down to.

I'm out of ideas. I even suggested you buy a Dodge Journey mostly as a joke.
Im not out of ideas and actually leaving a dealer now. Not wasting anyone's time either. Salesperson said can I help you and I said not now as I'm just looking around. Will update soon.

You know Dareo.. I'm not a auto bigot. I had some great rides but my favorites are workhorses. Something easy to work on, dependable and functional.
Seats have to be great for long trips and quiet. Usually dictates higher end trim to get the insulation and laminated glass. I can't stand loud road and wind noise like Hondas of the past.
And I like mpg's.

Safety features are important too.
What I want to avoid is oil changes that require you to remove a tire or other nonsense. No way...
I like your new ride but I mostly only carry me....

Mazda 6 going inline 6???
Also heard turbo and then not...
What about the CX5

VW ID4
3 years free unlimited charging
Love the outside and space

Shifter is strange and dangerous for a new driver. Interior looks tupperwarish .
250 mile range..
2 yrs free maintenance....what that is i'm not sure.

4655 pounds...wow
Rear drive
82 kwh standard battery..2wd
201 HP in 2 wd
No plug and charge now even though VW owns the network. ( coming)

Ford and Chevy have been ruled out.
I have owned many of both but nothing they make interests me.
Ford is pretty slim these days.
