Lets talk about new vehicles

Chargers in Palm Coast Florida
We went to this secluded very small private nature park. A total of four people were there.
They have 4 chargers in front............ this was back a few years ago and I thought it was great.
So I think there are many more like this. Good on Tesla telling you where you can go.

My biggest critique of the Tesla's I've been in has been the interior materials selection and fit and finish. The Mustang and e-tron are both markedly better in that regard. The Audi is about as engaging to drive as a Suburban though, it's big, heavy, and INSANELY quiet inside. You could hear a pin drop at highway speed. A Tesla, you aren't hearing anything because of the wind noise. The Mustang is between the two. It's lighter, feels more engaging, isn't as fast as the Tesla, but has a much nicer interior and is faster than the Audi.
I've watched a few YT reviews from the "good" car reviewers and the consensus is thw MACH E is a good platform, good handler and a good car all around. I just wished they put a simple 2-speed planetary transmission in them to boost that off the line torque.
As an example, my EcoSport has 2395 lb-ft of available torque in first gear as it has a REAL SHORT 1st gear ratio combined with a 3.51:1 final.
And that is not including any torque multiplication form the converter - though that would be minimal starting off with a 16:1 gear ratio.
This addition would give the BASE motor some more neck snapping juice off the line.

I applaud your car selection, Now to get a grille decal for that Plain Jane nose - or better yet - hit up a good airbrush artist that
sprays on Polythene Pams.
I wish I had a garage. Time to build a new house. Got to ask the old farmer's widow up the road if she wants to sell off a couple of the 188 acres she has to pay tax on - I would say 35G would be reasonable.

Thanks Arco!
We are alike- going to do a house soon too. However I want to actually put a car in a garage for once....lol
Many garages of machinery but no room for a car...

Hah, I struggle with that daily. I've got so much junk it's starting to hang form the ceiling of my garage now. I refuse to not park both vehicles in there; I'll find a way! I don't understand people that have garages and pack them with junk while their $40K car sits outside.

Yeah mine is business stuff but when I move I am downsizing my business and nothing but cars and household stuff will get in the garage.
Although growing up I had a free garage spot but gave it up. My car would get dinged in a garage-lol

We could be twins! I'm going back to test drive the local one again. My wife really likes it...
Many haters here but I really like the looks and inside as well. And on the three I have seen the paint was perfection. The only negative is I can't find any place to put in the Lucas stabilizer and upper cylinder lubricant.

The tablet...i can deal with but I could also do without..

I like mach E, but it's a new ford. Stand by for lawsuits and fixes in tents.

Have you thought about leasing, since you buy a new car every few months?

Also not sure how your wife could hate the Audi soooooooo much but like the electric Mustang?

You'd have to meet my wife, she's.... fickle. ;)

One of her biggest gripes with the Audi was that it was so quiet. The Mustang piped-in "noise" is something she absolutely loves, even though it is so silly. She also likes the big tablet screen, like Tesla has, but the Ford also has a gauge cluster, which is even nicer. Remember, she liked the Model 3, it was me that found it too "cheap", so the Mustang is very similar in how it feels (handling/acceleration), but doesn't have that cheap feeling inside. The Audi felt big and heavy, because it was big and heavy, Ford has managed to avoid that.

We just got back from a 2nd test drive :ROFLMAO: I think we should hold out for the GT, she doesn't. The GT isn't going to be any "nicer", just faster, and the 365HP version isn't slow, it's about as fast as my old fox body was stock, 13.8 @ 101, making it faster than the truck.

Yes, we've been through a few vehicles recently, but prior to that we held on to them for a very long time. I've talked her out of a TRX, so the RAM is staying put, I expect we'll keep it like we did with the Expedition. Being in two accidents, it has had a pretty big value hit, so it's not like the Jeep where I can get what I paid for it on a trade if that was being considered (Ford has offered me what I paid for the Jeep trying to get me to buy the Mach-E, lol).

That doesn't mean I'm going through with anything, but I've definitely been looking. I still want an EV, I feel a bit hypocritical with all my nuclear advocacy while driving a vehicle that until very recently, was averaging less than 11Mpg.

Bruh...you will not convince me your fox trapped 100+ stock.
