Preface I've had over 70 cars in my lifetime - most NEW.
I actually have an Excel spreadsheet but I haven't been updating it the last decade.

Had an NEW Altima as a loaner. Terrible. Couldn't wait to get out of it.
Just like Camry loaner I had - NO thank you. PLus 7-8K hit on current market sedans as soon as you are off the lot.

I had a '14 Rogue Select (aka: Qashquai) at the time. That was very comfortable overall. Better seats and ergos than the Altima

I was very comfortable in the base Jetta. Though a new LT1 Camaro was more comfortable still.

I would suggest to lease a Jetta for 2 or 3 years, I would go with the stick. Currently 0/0/0 Down $239/mo.

Alternatively A Dodge Charger V6 was a great car and comfy also, maybe better overall than the Jetta though a 10MPG highway hit.

Great speedy highway cruiser both the Jetta and the Charger

DO NOT buy the maintenance program VW push.

Just know you will need tires before you turn it in.

Oh man, do NOT even consider that "Buick" If I'm going to buty a POS Subcompact CUV

Not enough engine though.

I would SERIOUSLY drive a Charger. I had considered one. But Low stock up here last December.
And I'm not buying unseen/undriven "carvana" style; That's Russian Roulette with 3 in the chamber

Problem is; pick the wrong colour and you are that State Cop.
Every car in front of you in the fast lane will slow to 5 over the limit on the Interstate.
Can get frustrating.

In 2014 I was going to buy a Charger. I really couldn't get comfortable in it but I liked it
Bought an Outlander Sport for my mom and then one for myself because those seats never bothered me
Just last month I did 970 miles straight in hers before I sold it for her estate.
But Mitsu prices are way up these days

But they move out of the left lane quickly.
