And Has three anti-theft devices:

1) No Key fob - "How do you unlock the door ?!!! "
2) Manual Transmission with no synchromesh
3) You pull UP on the horn knob to run the starter :)

Wonder how good i would look in it?😜😜😜😳

I dunno Zee. I just got an email that VW would be starting OTA software updates when needed, no dealer appt's anymore! Not that I've needed any, I don't have the luxo-status ride you do. 🤣

They probably need to make a tweak to the software on your power floor mats too.

They did add a bunch of new features which we all really needed to the infotainment

I know...I know...
I would like to see a new upscale VW. A step above the Arteon.
I know the market is fierce and upscale most likely won't sell.
V6??

Here in MD. It is now Jettaville.
I see them everywhere
Must be a hot seller

They are hot sellers around here. The trouble for me, is all the VW dealers are combined locations of large dealerships. Not one of them would I buy from.

Here they are separate but all 40 plus miles away.
Rather small dealerships too

They already make an upscale VW a step above the Arteon. They are called Audi's.

Audi dealers actually managed to delay Arteon coming to NA because they thought it was too close to Audi. This resulted in the somewhat decontented Arteons we get. If you hang on VW Arteon forum you'll see even then many Arteon buyers cross shopped Audi. I'd rather have an Arteon than an Audi myself.

Jetta was for many years VW's #1 seller here and despite SUV craze still does very well. Being very affordable still keeps it strong, money is tight for a lot of folks.

When i was buying my VW it seemed most VW sales were geared to the younger crowd and the prices were very economical compared to their competition.

Audi is attractive to me but i think VW does it better. Price aside VW comes off as more original with less fluff...
I will say I am very surprised by how nice and smooth the Arteon is.

And great mpg too.
Yes, better than they advertise. I think they are gun shy from Diesel Gate. My Jetta is rated at 39 mpg and it easily achieves 42-45 even with my driving style. A peruse of Jetta forums indicates my results are typical. My Passat also exceeded it's mpg ratings by a good margin. IIRC you've experienced the same with your Arteon.

Most people don't realize how valued packed a VW is. They think "German, expensive".
I think Mexico, Hungary, and China and Tennessee and .... affordable.

Recently looking at Willys-Overland sedans from the 1920's I see MORE than a faint resemblance in badging.

All the money we save on gas we can afford a few repair bills...
