The US has been the 'Defender' of the European countries for years and years.They dont like us but when they need help they become our best friends.France has wanted to be the major power in Europe for years but they cant.The US 'is' the only power left and France and the rest of Europe cant stand us because of that yet they coming running to us for help when the are threatened.I dont care what France or Germany or any of the other 'Europeans' think,if they were truly our friends they would stand beside us through the thick and thin,not just when it is in 'their' best interest.Europe thinks that if they keep thier head in the sand that the mean terrorists will go away and play nice somewhere else.This same philosphy helped Hitler take over most of Europe in WWII.Muslim extremists hate those that arent muslim and want them destroyed,havent the liberals been watching the news?

Maybe that's why they would prefer someone like Kerry or another Clinton.

The Dems and the socialist Europeans remind me of a classroom of boys. Three of the boys are class bullies. One boy does not take any crap and fights back. The other boys are pacifist/appeaser and will do anything to please or passify the bullies.

Who do think the bullies respect, the pacifists/appeasers or the guy who fights back and is feared?

Same way with criminals in the US. If you don't shoot back, the homeowners and store owners won't be respected by the criminal.

The bully always prays upon the pacifist/appeaser and CONTIUES to take advantage.

And the more concessionary the appeaser, the more freedom the appeaser loses.

Who knows what would be if Clinton stay ? Naturally his policy would be different from Bush, but it does not guarantee that the economic situation would not be worse. Like any other politicians Bush does everything as his own, well or badly, he does this like he can, and what may look bad in the eyes of the world society does not mean bad for the US. The reason of Iraq invasion is quite clear: this is not Saddam and this is not the oil like manies would think. There is something more important: Corporate America, its future and prosperity.

Though, personal sympathy to this or that politician may be fully different.
