LED Headlight Lamps?

We use one FM road that has lots of big rigs - some of the older KW’s have aftermarket rectangular lights that make a train look like a night light - not sure how they get away with those …
I'd like to see headlight aim / potential for blinding other drivers become part of states' safety programs. Which wouldn't help me in KY because we have none, but I digress. I'm all for less government interference and nannies, but this is actually becoming a safety issue IMO. I'm in my late 30's with good eyes, I really feel for the 60+ year old folks whose eyes pass the test but aren't as good as they used to be!

Don't get me started on semis, I've corrupted this thread enough :P. My favorite are the drop in standard-size rectangular headlights that the older semis use-- I often see bulbs that have like 60+ individual LEDs with no focusing whatsoever. Usually about a quarter of the LEDs are burned out or flashing dimly. The sad thing is, those LEDs are usually wired in series, so if you lose one LED, it becomes a quickly cascading failure till the whole thing burns out. Those don't blind me terribly, but I pity the semi driver that has to see with that garbage.
