So here's a noggin scratcher.
New Husqvarna 125B leaf blower. Probably less than 2 hours of run time on it from blowing driveway/sidewalk/deck after mowing the past couple of months. Last time used about 1.5 weeks ago, motor suddenly died right about the time I was finishing driveway sweep. Tried a few times to restart, motor would fire, then die. Fuel was visible in tank, but low...figured maybe the fuel pickup tube was curled out of fuel, I'll fuss with it later.
So, yesterday, played with fuel pickup tube and seemed good. Filled tank to known good run condition using Husqyvarna premix (purchased with blower to get extended warranty). Started blower on driveway. Engine will idle and can be revved, no problem. Any attempt to actually lift the blower and it dies. I adjusted the H/L needles a bit, but no change in behavior. Tried lifting while idling and while revved, same thing. Blower will "walk" a bit if not held in place, doesn't seem to bother it. Only lifting kills the motor. It behaves as if there's a deadman switch between the blower and concrete.
Any thoughts!
TIA.
