LC in tranny

So im sitting here staring at my beautiful two new gallons of LC and FP. It says on the LC bottle that i can add 4oz to my transmission every 10k miles, my question is to make sure that i dont need to drain my transmission after this, i know its a pretty dumb question. Also anyone got positive results with adding it to an AT?

I use the recomended treat rate of 1 oz for the trannsmission. I do an annual drain and fil so at that time I add another oz of LC.

just added LC to a couple PS units. No real noticible difference, but it ought to keep the fluid like new. Ive added to ATF as well... Only time will tell how much difference we will see.

I kinda have the same question. I was thinking about buying the FP and LC, and using some in my transmission for the Grand Am. It only has about 8K on it right now, so would I need to wait a little while longer, or is transmission "break in" a non issue...

I would start right away. Transmission fluid is good for one year or 30,000 miles. But long before 30K oxidation begins to occur. LC, from what I have read is a good anti-oxidant package. Should keep fluid in good condition for the 30,000 mile run.

Other alternative is to run an ARX dose for 1500 miles before the 30,000 mile mark to keep the torque converter clean.

So, you think it'd be a good idea to run the LC in the transmission, then at 30K, do a pan drop change and get the filter too? Or just drain and top off....still iffy on what is the best thing to do when it comes to transmission service. Also, is using LC in the transmission a one time thing per fluid change, or do you add it every XXXX miles..
