It's 'old' technology but something that's hard to get from standard oils. It gets 'used up' and needs to be replenished during an OCI to stay effective. Sort of a sacrificial additive. This type of tech would be unacceptable in an over the counter oil used by consumers but offers unique advantages for those willing to use it in this fashion. Seems like there are no solubilty issues. I believe Terry has used or recommended LC with Red Line in the past so this outcome was expected.
