Too bad. I was and am a Lakers fan. Not sure why they got rid of him, but seeing as he melted down shortly after leaving the team, they obviously saw something I didn't. The guy was former Sixth Man of the Year. Loved seeing him on the court. Hope whatever is left of his brain can work through all that baggage.

They could not airlift him by helicopter because he was too tall so they took him by ambulance to hospital. Hopefully he is OK. I saw him play when he was playing for Miami.

Say what you want, but Lamar Odom had it all, rich NBA player, hot Kardashian wife, then he decided to do drugs. He made bad choices, hopefully he can correct his life and get better, but it is his choice.

They (the media, Jesse Jackson, CNN, etc.) are already making him out to be a "hero", just like they did when Magic contracted HIV back in the 90'S.
