This is similar to before, but this time it's two different labs using the ASTM test protocols as indicated below ....


Fuel Dilution/FTIR, +/- 20%

Viscosity/ASTM D-445, +/- 0.70%

TBN/ASTM D-4739, +/- 7%

TAN/ASTM D-974, +/- 4% to 15%

Water/ASTM D-4928, +/- 2% to 7%

Elemental/ICP, +/- 20%

Soot/FTIR, +/- 20%

Solids/FTIR, +/- 20%

Flash Point/ASTM D-92, +/- 18C

Pour Point/ASTM D-97, +/- 6C

VI/ASTM D-2270, +/- 0.70%

Ash Content/ASTM D-874, +/- 9% to 20%

Noack Volatility/ASTM D-5800, +/- 18.3%

Oxidation/Nitration w/ FTIR, +/- 20%

CCS Viscosity/ASTM D-5293, +/- 8.9%

If the viscosity is +-.7% then the VI should be a lot higher than +-.7%.

I trouble believing .7%. Are you sure it's not +-.7Cst
