K&N .vs. 51515R

Howdy: Need a high flow filter on the Rat-Rod, and wonder if the K&N is better that the old 51515R. Do you guys know if any oil filter flows better than a 51515R ? Thanks in advance, HemiRoy

You might consider the Fram Racing filter ... made just for applications like that.

Get a double filter mount and run two Fram XG8A filters. That's good for 42+ gallons per minute! I doubt your rat rod oil pump moves the equivalent of nearly a drum of oil every minute....

Awesome idea !! Never thought about running dual filters, but that is the kind of overkill i am looking for on the Boss-9 Hemi in the new Ratt-Rod. We have dual oil coolers, and dual filters will be a nice touch. Fram XG-8A seem to have good flow and good filtering too. Thanks for the great ideas, Hemi-Roy
