Recently purchased an ATF filter kit. The kit came with an AC PF2 filter. I blew air through the filter and it is not too restrictive.

K&N lists the HP-3001 as cross reference to the AC PF2. What is the can size for the K&N? Will the K&N be a good ATF filter, or is there something better? Is there a filter with a longer body that will use the same thread/fitting (3/4-16)? Basically, looking for a filter with low pressure drop.

Thanks,
Keith.

I might be wrong so duble check with baldwing but I think that the B2HPG is a high flow synthetic glass fiber filter that can be used for for crankcase oil or Hydralic Lube! It is also 3/4-16TPI. If I am wrong I know that they have a filter that is just intended for hydralic lube filtration that is a low drop filter. If I was at work I could give you the exact number. I send alot people that way for filters for the Alison transmissions and the Duramax diesel fuel filter.
