Lumber Finer synthetic XL vs K&N

Opinions on these filters.
I'm considering ordering some filters for my 02 Sebring 2.7l. Both are available on RockAuto -K&N for $3, Luber for $4. The dimensions show the K&N is an inch longer than the standard size. The Luber doesn't have the length listed so I assume it is standard size.
I'm considering using the K&N for a clean up o/c and then using the XL for a normal o/c.
Any body have any experience with these.

The Luber Finer 6607 filters that I bought for our Mazda seem identical to the ST 6607 that are sold at Walmart. A good basic filter IMO. The XL is probably equivalent to the discontinued ST MP which means it has a silicone ADBV and apparently no different otherwise.

PS: You wrote 'Lumber Finer' rather than Luber Finer in the topic.
