and compared the the STP paper filter I was using it's heavier, has about triple the pleats, better gasket, better screen mesh on the ID and OD and the paper looks like it has a coating or it is treated in some way. The STP just had a plain white filter paper. Not that the looks of the paper mean anything. This is the universal 14"x3" round.

how much did i pay? i have to pre order mine, travel 30 minutes to order it, pick it up in a few days after 30 more minutes of driving. i wonder if u can feel a differnce in teh filters when u install it. im going to get mine tomrrow.

im just tired of paying hecka for a fram filter... its just a filter i know, but its my car. trying to treat it right (not too good on full throttle).
