lol, if I wanted someplace to do an oil service with my oil and/or filter, I'd gladly pay the normal rate for the service with their stuff, not want a "credit". That way everyone is happy.

BTW- most mechanical shops here do not sell parts. They tell you what they think you need, you go buy it, they put it in. Maybe it works, maybe not. You have a problem a few weeks later, you supplied the parts, so you pay the labor to replace them again.
Jiffy Lube stores are franchises, so policies may not all be the same across the board.
I worked at a JL and we routinely used customer supplied oil and filters. There was always a small discount for customer supplied parts, but I can't remember exactly how much it was.
That said, see if other places will do it. Around here I never have any trouble supplying my own parts.
