A little on the "thick" side. Mobil 1 5w30 is around 9.8 cSt @ 100°C. I'm surprised the HT/HS isn't better, though. Mobil 1 10w30 and 5w30 are both thinner than this oil at 100°C, yet their HT/HS numbers are about the same: 3.2.
This is not an A3 rated oil, that's for sure. What is it?
VI looks a bit low, but a good pour point. I assume the CCs is no more than [email protected] or it couldn't be called a 5w. [email protected] is slightly thich compared to many others, which run between 10 and 11.

That is my theory, but it only pertains to fully synthetic (PAO/ester) oils. Not conventionals, and not blends.
