Man that chaps my rear...I would have spent $10k on a gas powered version with a manual transmission...was my dream commuter car, and still is. I love riding my motorcycle, but the idea of weather protection in the long cold Iowa winters was awesome.

I'm sure they will want more deposits for this new electric version as well. Had a friend that was looking at getting one of these and I told him he should just go find an old Geo Metro. It would be safer at least.

Maybe they will actually make it to production, but anyone who is putting down deposits on Elio's at this point deserves to lose that money.
