Maybe - but since the price gap widened allot from RUG - I’d sooner use PEA once in a while … Exxon is handy here …
Currently the price of regular here is $3.05 vs premium $4.25. Many times it would be cheaper to just buy a bottle of quality cleaner than use premium.

Yep, and the parts houses seem to stagger the buy 1 get 1 on Techron or Regane - never pay full price unless I decide it’s time for Redline or LM …

Shell V Power contains 6 times the required amount of detergents but they don’t say what their 87 octane contains but it does have less.
Costco says that its gas contains 5 times the required amount of detergents in all of its grades. So if you want to run 87 octane and get a high level of detergents that’s where to go.

…and many are reporting that Costco has Top Tier + gasoline…whatever that is…I’ve been happy using costco gas almost exclusively in my cars and cars I take care of since 2014…Good luck with your choice

Run Costco (top tier) then add a bottle of Techron Complete Fuel System Cleaner every oil change. That's my program.

I have a Shell station on my way to and from work. I specifically use there 87 octane in all my rides. I still run Chevron Techron Complete Fuel System Cleaner every 3-4K in all of them. Maybe it just makes me sleep better at night?
Nobody knows. Shell is certainly the most expensive.
plus you get better mileage out of 87 if your car doesn't need higher octane!

It has possibly the best cleaning 87 octane but Shell 93 has more cleaning power than Costco 93 does.Costco has the best cleaning Gasoline

If you’re running Costco all the time you don’t need to add anything else. I have never added any fuel system cleaners to my Civic and I use Costco 95% of the time. Bought the car with 130,000 km on it and now have 300,000
I have always wondered if the additive that is used in Top Tier gas could have an unfavorable reaction with Fuel additives by other manufactures. Ex: While adding Techron may be additive when used with Exxon gas could it reduce the effectiveness of Shell Nitro+. I really have no idea but if all these additive companies have proprietary chemistry can we predict what will happen when combined with others. We could be buying expensive gas and adding expensive cleaners to find one neutralizes the other.
Maybe. Don't expect miracles. Once the injectors are already compromised, using a particular fuel is not likely going to restore them. Using a top tier fuel from the start will keep the fuel system good ,clean and prevent problems from developing.
Filled up the CTS with Shell “V Power Nitro+” 93 this weekend. the butt dyno approves the change from the normal 87 it gets. lol.
