The previous thread was shut down because of an endless back and forth. I contacted Shell and asked:

Me: Is "V-Power" an actual fuel additive pack that is unique to Shell's highest octane grade of fuel? Or, do all Shell octane grades contain the same additive pack, but in different concentrations? For instance, does Shell regular (87 octane) contain the same exact add pack as V-Power NItro+, but in a lower concentration?"

Shell's response: “All Shell gasolines, including regular unleaded, contain the same additive formulation. However, Shell V-Power NiTRO+ Premium Gasoline features the highest concentration of this formulation, with seven times the cleaning agents required by federal standards.

Me: "Thanks. I'm just trying to claryify if "V-Power" refers to the add pack itself, or specifically to Shell's most premium grade of fuel, which contains the same add pack as all other grades, but in a higher concentration."

Shell: "Hmm upon checking, there is no difference between Super, Premium, V-Power, and Super Premium. It is the same Premium Fuel type. So, All Shell gasolines (including "regular" unleaded gasoline) contain the same additive formulation (with additive). Shell V-Power NiTRO+ Premium Gasoline contains the highest concentration of the formulation and has seven times the cleaning agents required to meet federal standards."

Hopefully this answers the question.
