If you use Chrome, Security Issues, 2.6 billion people need to update ASAP

Thanks for the heads up. The end of the article stated that the solution was to update Chrome:

To combat these threats, Google has released a critical Chrome update, version 95.0.4638.54. To check if you are protected, navigate to Settings > Help > About Google Chrome. If your Chrome version matches this version number or higher, you are safe. Be warned, Google states that the rollout of 95.0.4638.54 will be staggered so you may not be able to protect yourself immediately. If the update is not yet available for your browser, make sure you check regularly for the new version.

On my Chromebook, I just updated to the latest version, Version 94.0.4606.104 (Official Build) (32-bit). Before, it was Version 93.something. I will have to keep checking for Version 95 in the coming days.

MS has produced a version with the security updates, but so far my laptop hasn't been able to pick it up. It is Edge 95.0.4638.54. If your version of edge doesn't update to that number (or higher), I'd do a manual update check tomorrow and see if it is available. Probably a controlled rollout.

edge://settings/help will get you to the page that does an update check.

Funny, I am on 94.x which is the current update. Perhaps the 95.x version will push soon?
Regardless, thanks for the post!

Do you mean Edge 95.0.1020.30, mine was 94 something earlier and I just checked and it updated to 95.0.1020.30, while it said there was no update earlier

No, I meant 95.x.4638.... Mine updated tonight to the same version you are on, but for whatever reason I don't seem to be able to pick up the higher version number. like i said, probably a controlled rollout.

After looking around I found this from Microsoft, https://msrc.microsoft.com/update-guide/en-US/vulnerability/CVE-2021-37986 , 95.0.1020.30 is the Edge equivalent of Chrome 95.0.4638.54
