If Mitsubishi's auto division goes away, will anyone care?

I purchased a 92 Montero V6 4x4 new. Was and is a very high quality well designed vehicle. It is under powered, but I knew that when I bought it but was never in a rush to get anywhere. Have never had any big problems. It now has 107K. I guess if Mits goes under (not down under) then my parts situation will get steadily worse as time goes by. I was hoping to run this into the ground. I keep the body waxed and it still looks like new with no rust except for a few stone chips. This is starting to sound like a for sale ad. As with anything else the other auto mfgr's will welcome the extra make up sales if Mits say's goodbye. Is it GM or Chrysler that has a stake in Mits? My local parts and service is a GM dealer but I can remember Chrysler using Mits parts.
