I Tried 30 Mustards This Summer. These Were the Best

This is a superb mustard from Fuller's restaurant in the Old Phoebus district in Hampton, VA. Fuller's restaurant originally served the blue-collar working class during its heyday and was known for its catchy slogan: "Eat dirt cheap at Fuller's". While the 87 year old historical restaurant shuttered in the 1980's, the mustard was so popular that a distributor purchased the recipe from the founder's descendants and it is sold in gourmet specialty markets today.

This Inglehoffer Sweet-Hot mustard has a similar taste profile, but is a bit more piquant than Fuller's.

I love stadium mustard brand. It was the mustard I grew up with in Cleveland at municipal stadium where the Indians and the Browns played..It is still sold in some stores and is still used today in Cleveland for the Browns and the Indians...IE Gardians..

Just spent a week with the brothers + nephew and BIL at the cabin the Adirondacks. My BIL Rick cooked for us meatarians. Kielbasa brauts with saurkraut and Trader Joe's Dijon. Once I got into the heat clearing out my sinsuses from Chinese mustard powder and water, French's just was just meh. Dijon is the closest prepared to the cheapest condiment ever made

I was in Chicago working a few months ago. They have a great hot dog place in Chicago called Portillo's.

This is a picture of the dog I ordered. Ketchup, tomatoes, pickle, and celery salt. Nobody threatened me for ordering it that way, but had a eye roll from the guy next to me....

I add lettuce and tomato on brats and hot dogs the best thing ever.

Really the only mustard needed IMO 😉
I'm partial to the spicy brown, excellent on a Ham & Swiss or a Knish 🤌
But they all have a place on the table, Costco usually has all 3 in a party pack for the summer
Boars head deli mustard is a little on the strong side, but it soaks into fresh Italian loaf 🍞 quite well
There's too many choices IMO

I was never a mustard guy, but years ago, I was having a good burger with a friend and somehow, can't remember why, ended up putting Beaver Brand mustard with horseradish on my burger. Couldn't believe I liked it so much as I normally wouldn't touch mustard with a ten foot pole. I've been buying it ever since.
