All I need. ;)

A few years ago, Aldi's sold this mustard. I thought it was pretty good stuff, especially for the low cost. Spicy, but not overbearing. Unfortunately, they discontinued it and it hasn't been stocked since. I know you can get the same product elsewhere, but the current manufacturers are a little too proud of their product.

We stock Lowensenf, Heinz yellow, gulden’s spicy brown, and grey poupon. I’ve had Maille and Ingerhoffer before. I really do like mustard on things that it goes with. There are a few from that article that I do want to try.

Man, I loved that stuff. I bought several bottles and would keep one on my desk at work. It kept getting stolen. It was good stuff!

Otherwise I like the very course ground German style mustard, preference to have horseradish included.

The only mustard I have ever wanted to use was a (not very) Sweet Hot Mustard. It was a hand made mustard at a little place in Jefferson City, MO. They served a killer Polish Sausage and the Hot Mustard was a great compliment. Did not need much on the Polish as it was quite flavorful.

My mom's side of the family is from Chicago. When I was a kiddo I would spend summers in Highland Park at my grandeparents house. The first thing I learned about eating hot dogs was that you only put mustard on them. Adding ketchup was a felony. Since then, I have tried all kinds of mustards, 2 of my favorites are black truffle mustard and banana pepper mustard. I rarely use the plain Frenches yellow mustard, there are far better choices out there. And yes it is a felony to put ketchup on hot dogs or any type of sausage.

I was in Chicago working a few months ago. They have a great hot dog place in Chicago called Portillo's.

This is a picture of the dog I ordered. Ketchup, tomatoes, pickle, and celery salt. Nobody threatened me for ordering it that way, but had a eye roll from the guy next to me....
