I am going to order a good bit of Redline 15w40. This will tie me over for a few years. The RL 15w40 has been very good to my equipment. I will look for a deal and jump.
I try not to pay more than $12/qt or $48 a gallon. I've been fairly good at it.
It has a very very good additive package, high HTHS, and high Ester content. It works great in everything I use it in. I had the valve cover off one of the Honda GXs to check valve clearance and after 350 hours, they were within specs, no adjustment needed. I might check it again around 700 hours.
It would be nice if they made a High Performance Mercon ULV transmission fluid. I might ask them when they send me the 85+ testing results.
