I don't want the UPS truck making a thousand trips up and down my street.

I like getting in the car and going shopping. I like looking at stuff in the auto dept and hardware stores. I can spend hours looking at tools and stuff.

Agree....when I want to shop, I want to be able to see it....

Turtle said it best,I agree too! I want to see, hold, etc my goods before I purchase them. I love being out and about.

Look for a company with positions related to that and apply away. Tell them your major and they might even help pay for school.

Marketing/Advertising
Working on that part too....

Maybe try companies such as:
Hill Rom, Stryker, Steris, Zimmer, UHS, HCA, Davitas, etc...

I was just in Sears picking something up and now they have stacks of cheap rubbermaid laundry baskets on the sales floor next to the washing machines.

I order everything on Amazon or ebay. Closest Best Buy or Sears is an hour and a half away. Its Walmart or nothin for brick and mortar in reasonable distance.

wow

For little widget items it is a no brainer to buy on Amazon or Ebay.

Ship most things to my door for free and price is most always cheaper than going to a store.

I was looking at a pair of little LED bulbs to replace my reverse lights in my SUV. Walmart wanted 20 dollars for 2 bulbs. Ended up buying 10 bulbs on ebay for 5 dollars shipped to my door.

Same deal with furnace filters, batteries, etc. We use prime once a week for items, it is way cheaper.

In the retail world, working at a mom and pop is the way to go. One of my best friends works at a mom and pop furniture store. He makes $$$$$$,gets excellent benefits, and they treat him great!! Corporate retail chains are all snakes.

That isn't new. I admit I paid little attention (I was usually en-route to or from the tool section) recall seeing laundry baskets next to the washing machines 20 years ago.

There is a guy in my facebook feed who works for Sears I think.

He is constantly posting "deals" about appliances they have for sale at some store in Idaho that he works for. I wonder if he is under pressure to sell this stuff, so he needs to market it to his facebook feed.

Nope, I don't want to buy your dented washer machine.

Yep, many places are starting to have folks do that....

Quicken Loans here expects you to post your mortgage stuff everywhere...
