Because when the push button start goes out I don’t want to replace it lol and plus cars were never meant to be started by a button only a key
Not that's funny! When I was a kid all the old cars had pushbutton start. I was fascinated by them. The "modern" cars had key start.
About the only thing I miss on older cars is the wonderful assortment of interior seat colors and patterns. I remember GM did some fantastic seats. Now you have a choice of black or black. Or an occasional off white. It really sucks. Oh, and no parasitic draw on the battery.
It would be easier for me to list what I don't miss about older cars.
Ignition switches that would wear out and could be turned without a key.
Light switches that stay on when the ignition is turned off, and drain a battery.
climate control settings that require constant attention, instead of setting it on auto and leaving it alone.
Tune ups with points and condensers to replace every 3000 miles.
Body rust
Engine rebuilds after only 80k miles
Asian automatic transmissions that didn't make 65k miles.
Shocks that didn't make 50k miles
Bias tires
Rear window decks made out of painted cardboard style material. The paint would fade and the cardboard would warp.
Solid steering wheel columns that would impale a driver in an accident
Steel dash boards that would also kill you.
Doors that had to be slammed to get them to latch when closing.
Floor boards that rusted out.
Engines that overheated.
Having to strap a canvas water bottle on the front bumper when on vacation in hot climates, in case the engine coolant got low.
Needing to get a tune up after returning from a trip to somewhere at a significantly different elevation.
Door fit. Old cars had door fit almost as bad as a Tesla.
Locking keys in a car. Much more common before remote door lock key fobs.
Replacing starters.
