I hate when they hold handguns sideways in movies!

I’m going to go against the grain here and applaud the movie producers for making this a cool looking shooting style and popularizing it.

If it gets some idiot criminals to actually use it in real life, and we know they will because a lot of them are quite stupid, that’s a big plus IMO because it will make them miss their target.

It’s one of those rare things out of Hollywood that probably saves lives.

Fantastic movie, pretty lady in it, and the high capacity revolvers too. Tombstone was great.

How sideways? A 90° gangsta angle no but a slight cant to accommodate an arm and shoulder natural angle, yes. Holding a pistol straight up and down doesn't fall in line with the scapular plane and increases unneeded strain, especially for extended periods of time or having to do something with the other hand.
