Dressing a car up as a reindeer.

I can't stand a lot of goofy things people do to their cars. I just try and ignore it. What gets me everytime is aircraft wings on the backs of Civics, etc.

As if it's really going to make anyone think it's a real reindeer. Someone makes a buck on that junk, but not from me.

Who cares? Maybe their little kids like it.If it makes someone feel good then all the more power to them.
To many things going on in this world to pay attention to something like this.

Why waste your energy in replying here, if you in fact care so little about this?

I posted what I thought about this, and, as far as I know, I didn't break any BITOG rules.

Seems that I've had run ins with you before at BITOG. If you have nothing good to say, kindly move on and say nothing.

I've seen everything from reindeer to wreaths on grills, and I enjoy it all. As long as it's not apt to fly off and hit some one, then why get upset about it? It's one thing to look down on a benzito because it seems like some rich person is rubbing in how frivolous they can be, but I've seen POS decorated as well.

You know what's really dumb? Truck nuts...Truckers couldn't come up with something else? I don't find the nuts offensive, but I DO think it's funny how three guys in the area with them are middle-aged men who're in terrible shape.

Beliefs and opinions or benign holiday decore are fine (and sometimes fun/funny,) but let's keep it civil, huh? I you like Smooth 101.3, fine. I hope a station rep sees you and hooks you up with some sweet Kenny G tickets or something. There's a fine line, though, between supporting something or sharing your beliefs with the world and simply sticking something on your bumper just despite. Unless it's a Calvin-peeing-on-Dallas-Cowboys sticker. Those are awesome.

A few years ago I put a wreath on the grille of my work van and even had a small string of DC lights on it, along with a few ornaments. It looked really cool at night.

I figure if I made a few people smile, it was worth it.

Simple: post an opinion, expect an opinion. Nuff' said.

Yeah, I mean, he could have made his point without sounding like one of the Bowery Boys but I guess some people lack that skill. From looking at his other posts, it looks as if he has had that attitude with others here.

Yeah.....folks always seem to like to do that sort of thing around here as well. I am of the opinion that it looks silly and kind of corny. But.....to get attention I find that people will do just about anything.
What I don't grasp is those fellas that allow the wife to put loads of goofy stuffed animals in the back window! How in the world can you even see safely out the back, let alone how stupid a grown man looks with suffed animals plastered in the window. Seen the same childish thing on motorcycles (especially big Hondas). Oh well.
