We bought a 2024 outback….in before the “ugly”. “Wagon” isn’t a dirty word to us. Drives like a car / hauls like an SUV. We had a Civic wagon, a 850 Turbo Volvo wagon, and an S4 Audi wagon. All fun, not boring at all.

Dunno where non functional objects on cars came from. One that comes to mind is the Audi Q5. that was the first vehicle I've ever seen with blank exhaust inserts, about 8 or 9 years ago. But I think of Subaru as being that type of company. I remember reading about Foresters needing a $1200 exhaust job because of the fake dual exhaust where one rots out and it's actually a Y pipe. I get employee pricing on the vehicles and you don't exactly see too many Subarus in the garage, and I don't even want one either. I wish we could get GM employee pricing. Back to the main topic yes the Outback doesn't look very good. The model I always liked is the WRX Limited, and that too doesn't look very good. It's as if they are styled after the Tesla truck.
