I love my job. I am in Alaska working. Anchorage is amazing. The weekend shall bring some deep sea fishing and white water rafting.... should be fun. Look for pictures.. I bought a new camera just for this trip....

More than twice as big as Texas, but they don't run around and brag about it. 8)
The only thing I remember about Anchorage for the 4 hours I was there, is they have a mall where the bottom floor is a skating rink....

A brother curently lives in 'Los Anchorage' as he says it's sometimes called. Anchorage has maybe 1/2 the population of the state, excellent breakfast with reindeer sausage and pancakes (my brother suggested adding a cherry to the plate and calling it the Rudolph special :^), other good pubs and food, maybe more than their fair share of nice looking women, some nice antique stores, and some awfully big moose here and there around town.
Fishing in spots the 100% DEET was good for about 1/2 hour before the skeeters would start landing, and in other areas no bugs at all. 'Summer was over' when you could see your headlights at 3:00 am.

The only state I haven't visited. I thought women were hard to come by in Alaska?
